Poulstone is set in the Wye valley, an area of outstanding natural beauty, and an internationally important protected landscape containing some of the most beautiful lowland scenery in Britain.
The unique landscape straddles the border between England and Wales and has been designated as an area of natural outstanding beauty for special attention in recognition of its exceptional landscape, impressive geology, historic legacies and its wildlife.
The uninterrupted views of the landscape will often treat you to spectacular sunsets and sunrises. The sky is an ever changing delight.
There are several wonderful walks around Poulstone Court and Kings Caple. The most popular is the walk to and beyond the Louis Harper suspension footbridge over the River Wye to the Sellack Church. For the more ambitious there is the “three churches and a bridge” circular walk of four miles providing interesting insights into rural life in Herefordshire over the last 150 years.
